名道德规范, 品行维道德

道德，指衡量行為正當與否的觀念標準。不同的對錯標準來自於特定生產能力、生產關係和生活形態下自然形成的。一個社會一般有社會公認的道德規範。只涉及個人、個人之間、家庭等的私人關係的的道德，稱私德；涉及社會公共部分的道德，稱為社會公德。
另特此補充，道德為非正式公共機制，非正式即指無法律或權威能判定正確與否，而公共機制指所有場合都能套用的準則。
道德相对主义者认为，道德和文化有密切關係：虽然人類的道德在某些方面有共通性，但是在不同的時代，不同的社會，往往有一些不同的道德觀念；不同的文化中，所重視的道德元素及其優先性、所持的道德標準也常常有所差異；同樣一種道德，在不同文化社會背景中的外在表現形式、風俗習慣往往也相去甚遠。
