- 警隊、警方、警力、警務處、警察部門、警察機關(police)是負責維持其地區的治安的一個團隊。他們容許適當使用武力,一般隸屬該國家或地區的保安部門,例如香港警務處便是隸屬於香港保安局。一般而言,負責執行警務的人員稱為警察。
